Sometimes, rebranding an organization for something terrible is bad business. First, the restaurant chain Cracker Barrell received enormous complaints about their new logo. Now, Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas is facing the same issue.

The Big 12 Conference school recently unveiled their new look beginning in 2026. No more of the "double T" dressed in bevel. It's back to the traditional 2-D look with a modern twist on the T's. A large majority of Tech students, alumni and fans were in agreement that the new look isn't great. They strongly feel that the beveled double-T logo represented Texas Tech's legacy and proud history.

Unlike Cracker Barrell, the new Texas Tech logo will not end in the trash cans in Lubbock. It's something that the Red Raider nation will have to live with from now on.......That is if they decide to bring it back several years from now.
